Derek Daniels was born and raised in Hawaii. He began his dance training with the traditional hula, then progress on the other dance forms, such as ballet, jazz, modern and ballroom. He then traveled, lived and worked around the world in the entertainment industry as a producer, director, choreographer, dancer, singer, and costume designer for over four decades. From stage, film, TV, music, and fashion, Mr. Daniels has done it all. Credits include: President and owner of Derek Daniels Productions Entertainment Company, Grace Jones (back up singer, dancer, choreographer, and personal assistant), Hugh Jackman, Boy George, Cirque du Soleil, Broadway “Cats”, Moulin Rouge, Jean Paul Gaultier, Kenzo and more… Derek is very happy to be part of the Glam team as Entertainment Director.
