Mikalah Gordon made her entertainment debut as a top 12 contestant on the hit-show American Idol. Her powerful voice and unique stage presence earned her notable success with Idol and a record deal with famed judge, Randy Jackson. After accolades as a vocalist, Mikalah continued with the American Idol franchise hosting the re-cap show After Idol. Hosting made it known to America she had a natural flair for entertaining & comedy. Her impeccable comedic timing and camera friendly relatability, she embarked on the world of comedy, headlining “The Comedy Store” and the “Laugh Factory”. Additionally, Mikalah has had notable success as an actress with roles on CBS “The Unit” the WB sitcom “Living with Fran (Drescher)” and currently she hosts two shows airing on the CW  “Worlds Funniest Animals” and “Totally weird and Funny” all while continuing her singing legacy with residencies in Las Vegas. In 2020 she wrapped a four year singing residency with The Cosmopolitan. In 2023 she began a new singing residency at the Aria. In between singing residencies, acting, tv roles, comedy stops & hosting, add radio personality to the repertoire. In 2018 she was a pivotal force in launching “We are Channel Q” the first nationally syndicated LGBTQ+ radio show.
